Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles


Roof upgrade of Cathedral built circa 1861. Works to this protected structure consist of replacement of existing fibre cement slates with Blue Bangor natural slates including bands of Killaloe Grey to match original finish. The works also include repair of existing stonework, flashings, gutters, downpipes, internal wall and ceiling finishes etc. Cement pointing will be removed and replaced with lime pointing on a phased basis.
